Changed the background from the death stripes to this nicer one. I used a texture from  EDIT lol, so I totally forgot to give her an ear xD So, I gaved her one. I barely did any shading. I just followed the original shading of the base    I saw the base and just had to do it x3 Took me...omg...did it seriously take me 9 hours to do D: I feel like a failure...um...did it turn out well? I would actually like a critique, if you're willing. Like, could I have done a better job with shading? That's my biggest concern, considering I can't shade for shit xD All this base are belong to  I coloreds it |

As for the lines... they hurt my eyes too, but it just makes it awesome-looking. Lolz! x3
I know, they hurt mine too, but I couldn't find any bigger lines.... I'll get a lined background that's larger so it doesn't make anybody's eyes bleed

Oh, they're not that hard, really. You just need to take your time when you do it. A lot of them already have shading, so that makes that part easier and some come with color templates.
When we get the chance to chill/hang, I'll demonstrate how I do it so you can get a feel for it.
