BTW, there will be two more tropical storms hitting Manila in 2 days and I don't think most of the people here are ready for it. Please pray for everyone (victims and non-victims alike). And let's all hope everyone will stay safe.

I...I really can't say anything. Nothing will make this better, but you can help with what has happened. You can donate to help these people. Just because it may not be your country, doesn't make it any less important. This is OUR world whether or not you like it and we should do all that we can. I can understand if you don't have money to spare, but at least get the word out; make people aware. If you can and you want to go to my first link, that has all the information and other links you will need.

My prayers; my hopes, go out to everyone that has had to experience this tragedy.

The country we live in may not be affected by typhoons or earthquakes but should always remember that tragedy can strike any of us at any time......the people of Samoa and the Phillipines are in my thoughts.....Cathy.

Exactly. I live in Indiana, I'm nowhere near where they are, but I still feel for them...

My mom is from that country... I know we have relatives in the Philippines, although I don't know what area. Regardless, those related and those not are in my thoughts..
